BIO
Dr. Thornhill is a board certified dermatologist who specializes in the detection and treatment of skin cancer as well as Mohs micrographic surgery. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida Honors college with a major in Biomedical Sciences. She earned her four year medical degree at Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia where she was inducted into the HAH honor society. Dr Thornhill graduated Summa Cum Laude. After a busy year of internal medicine at the University of South Carolina, she decided to return to her home state of Florida to complete a three year ACGME accredited dermatology residency at the Orlando branch of Kansas City University.

Growing up with physician parents, Dr. Thornhill knew she wanted to be a doctor from an early age. During medical school she considered many specialties from pathology to surgery, but ultimately decided to follow in her mother's steps of becoming a dermatologist. She has special interests in many aspects of dermatology including complex medical dermatology and inflammatory skin conditions, however her true passion is cutaneous oncology and surgical dermatology. During her appointments she enjoys learning about her patients on a personal level and is looking forward to establishing a lifelong career here at the Skin Cancer Center. She is currently accepting new patients for surgical and general dermatology.

In her free time Dr. Thornhill enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and their two daughters. She enjoys traveling, watching movies, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
